Here are some brief introductions to our current local and foreign missionaries, as well as other missions projects the we support to help share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As you browse through, please remember to pray for these individuals and organizations, who are sometimes in dangerous places, that are bringing the light of the Gospel to those living in darkness.
June Mathias
Wycliffe Bible Translators – Burkina Faso, West Aftrica
Since 1988, June has trained nations, Wycliffe members, and other Bible translators how to use their computer to analyze unwritten languages, make dictionaries, generate concordances, and prepare Scripture portions for publication. June lives in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, which is 200 miles south of Timbuktu. In the course of her work, sometimes she travels to rural villages & other neighboring countries.
Tony & Cat Sterling
Missions Direct - Texas, USA
Cat joined missions in 1989 and have served in Africa, Eastern Europe, South America, the Caribbean, the South Pacific and Asia. In 1994 Cat met her husband Tony during a Tokelau Islands outreach in the South Pacific. Tony & Cat serve together and have 4 children. Cat is currently working with Mission Direct in the USA to facilitate teams to work on the mission field in 6 different countries.
Tim & Debbie Anderson
Teen Challenge / Prison Ministry – Quito, Ecuador – Amazon Jungle
Tim & Debbie’s vision is to make the Gospel of Jesus Christ alive and real to the people of Ecuador; whether it be to the Shuar Indians, hardcore prisoners, or to those who have never met Jesus as their personal Savior. They run Men’s Quito Teen Challenge & Prison Ministry, Amazon Jungle Church planting, and LACC Christian schools in the Amazon.
