Welcome to New Covenant Tabernacle. A Life giving - Life Changing place.
We would like to help you be comfortable at our church. You will find that our church is
a warm, loving place to be that is there to help you experience a personal relationship
with Jesus Christ.
Let us answer some of the questions you may have ...
What time are your services? -- Services are every Sunday beginning at
10 a.m. You are invited to join us as early as 9 a.m. if you would like a cup of coffee
or just to have a place to hang out and fellowship with good people.
Sunday is not the only time we all meet. Join us any Wednesday night for God Encounter at
7 p.m. in our Sanctuary.
How should I dress? -- NCT is a contemporary church where men come dressed in
everything from jeans to suits and sport coats. Pastor Dan is particularly fond of Hawaiian
shirts (he calls them happy shirts). Women are comfortable wearing jeans slacks, dresses
or suits, so whatever you wear, the important thing is always modesty, not formality or
style.
Where should I park? -- The large parking lot on the East side of the main
building has a large, visitor only parking area, marked off by flags and signs, all along the
sidewalk closest to the building. You may enter the building either through the parking
lot entrance to your left, or if the weather is nice, follow the sidewalk to your right
to the NCT Lobby doors under the canopy on McConkey Drive.
What can I expect upon entering the building? -- Greeters will welcome you as
you enter the building from either entrance. When you enter from the main lot entrance follow
the hallway till you see a hanging sign directing you to turn right to find the sanctuary.
You may then proceed along the windowed courtyard hallway to the NCT Lobby where you will
find our book media center, book nook and welcome center where you can pick up a coupon for
a free beverage of your choice, coffee, cappuccino, or fruit smoothie from "Hebrews Cafe",
also located in the NCT Lobby.
What are Sunday services like? -- Our services are marked by the tangible
presence of the Holy Spirit, prayer, and vibrant, passionate contemporary Spirit led
worship. Congregants are encouraged to participate through singing, dance and the use of
worship flags which are available for adults and children. A "normal" service will
usually be around 90 minutes in length. Of course, from time to time, special guests,
special services and moves of the Holy Spirit will sometimes necessitate a longer service.
Will visitors be asked to stand? -- No, instead you will be greeted by a
section host who will make himself/herself available to answer any questions you have and assist
you with any needs that may arise.
If I need prayer who should I ask? -- At the conclusion of every service
pastors, elders and prayer team members will be available in the altar area to pray and
agree in faith with you and for you and your needs.
Is a Nursery Available? -- Yes, a well child nursery is available following
the praise and worship portion of our service for children ages 3 months to 4 years. We also
provide a nursing mothers room for mom's with nursing children who wish to view and listen
to the service while tending to their infants needs.
Are Sunday School classes open to new people? -- Yes, all our classes,
(Family Education Department or FED) which start at 9:00 a.m. are open to new folks of all
ages, children and adult. Classes are listed in our Bulletin and anyone wearing a nametag
will be happy to lead you to the class you wish to attend.
