MEALS FOR THE SICK -- Do you make a great chili? How about mom's old fashioned
meatloaf? Are your stir fry's the bomb? Do you know the best pizza place in town? Then,
please join us in serving our NCT Family in the Meals For The Sick Ministry.
This ministry provides meals for families and individuals in need, primarily on a short
term basis, for a variety of reasons. Individuals or families deliver a meal on a
prearranged day and time. It may be a pot of soup, lasagna, stew or a pizza. Desserts are
not required unless you desire. Don't count yourself out if you don't cook; a sub or
Chinese take-out is always welcome!
Whether you have been serving in this ministry for years, or would like to start now,
please complete a Meals For The Sick information sheet and drop it in an offering basket.
This is a very simple, flexible way to serve Jesus, and your sisters and brothers
here at NCT. Note: You will be contacted with follow-up information. There are no hard and
fast requirements, just a desire to care for those for whom our Savior cares. Thank
you.
Matthew 25:35-36 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and
you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in ... was sick and you
looked after me.
